NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION
          In compliance with Section 5 of R.A. No. 9048 , a notice is hereby served to the public that  LOIDA CALAYCAY FOLLANTE has filed with this Office a petition for change of first name from BRIGIDA to LOIDA in the birth certificate of BRIGIDA CALAYCAY who was born on July 23, 1946 at Badoc, Ilocos Norte and whose parents are ALEJANDRINO CALAYCAY and FLORA DAMIAN.
          Any person adversely affected by said petition may file his written opposition with this Office not later than April 4, 2016.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC


          Calling the attention of “SHERILYN” the biological mother of minor JORGEN who was deliberately abandoned her son sometime year 2003 with Spouses EMERITO and NORALYN BUMANGLAG Barangay Ver, Dingras, Ilocos Norte. Since then up to present the mother did not appear to claim her child back.
          Minor is now 13 years and 2 months old, under the continuous care and custody of guardian. Said minor is being sought for adoption by the custodian hence the need for the biological mother/parents or other concerned relatives of the minors to appear the soonest time and report or contact DSWD  Sub-Office, Provincial Capitol, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. Failure to appear would mean disinterested on her part. Hence, DSWD will undertake the issuance of the Certification that minor will be legally available for adoption.

Pagudpud’s tourism transformer passes away

Ricardo Nolasco Jr., owner of Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte passed away on Wednesday evening, July 11, 2018. He was 67. “He did not survive an open-heart surgery,” said Ronald Dominguez, spokesperson of the largest resort at Brgy. Balaoi in Pagudpud. Known as the architect behind the transformation of Pagudpud town as a premiere destination of the north, Mr. Nolasco put up Hannah’s Beach Resort in what was originally meant as a family vacation resort.
