            In compliance with the publication requirement and pursuant to OCRG Memorandum Circular No. 2013-1 Guidelines in the Implementation of the Administrative Order No. 1 Series of 2012 (IRR on R.A. 10172) Notice is hereby served to the public that SUSAN BACUD DE GRACIA has filed with this Office a petition for correction of entry in the sex of child (LCRO copy) from “MALE” to “FEMALE”; and the change of first name from “JESSIE” to “SUSAN” in the Certificate of Live Birth of JESSIE ALMAZAN BACUD at Paoay, Ilocos Norte and whose parents are Marcelina Almazan and Modesto Bacud.
            Any person adversely affected by said petition may file his written opposition with this Office not later than May 25, 2015.

Pagudpud’s tourism transformer passes away

Ricardo Nolasco Jr., owner of Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte passed away on Wednesday evening, July 11, 2018. He was 67. “He did not survive an open-heart surgery,” said Ronald Dominguez, spokesperson of the largest resort at Brgy. Balaoi in Pagudpud. Known as the architect behind the transformation of Pagudpud town as a premiere destination of the north, Mr. Nolasco put up Hannah’s Beach Resort in what was originally meant as a family vacation resort. The rest is history when it expanded into more than 300-room executive villas and cabanas, with on-going infrastructure developments and set up various amenities.
