No. 9048, a notice is hereby served to the public that hernane macabiog soriano has filed with this office a petition for Change of First Name from “hermandue hermanina” to “hernane” in the birth certificate of hermandue hermanina soriano who was born on June 3, 1954 at Paoay, Ilocos Norte and whose parents are Moises Soriano and Paz Macabiog.
     Any person adversely affected by said petition may file his written opposition with this office not later than May 3, 2015.

            Filed with this Court is a verified petition for the adoption of the minor Micah Jane Mabini Soriano by Spouses Pablo Erwin A. Mabini a.k.a. Edwin A. Mabini and Obdulia Angelina M. Mabini of Barangay 21, Libtong, Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. If the petition is granted, the registered name of the minor will be MICAH JANE M. MABINI.
            Finding the petition to be sufficient in form and substance, the Court hereby sets the hearing of the petition on June 8, 2015 at 8:30 A.M. at the Regional Trial Court, Marcos Hall of Justice, Branch 11, Laoag City at which date, time and place, any interested person may appear and show cause why the petition should not be granted.
            Let a copy of this Order be published once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in any newspaper of general circulation in the province of Ilocos Norte and Laoag City at the expense of the petitioner.

Pagudpud’s tourism transformer passes away

Ricardo Nolasco Jr., owner of Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte passed away on Wednesday evening, July 11, 2018. He was 67. “He did not survive an open-heart surgery,” said Ronald Dominguez, spokesperson of the largest resort at Brgy. Balaoi in Pagudpud. Known as the architect behind the transformation of Pagudpud town as a premiere destination of the north, Mr. Nolasco put up Hannah’s Beach Resort in what was originally meant as a family vacation resort.
